WinTv PCI Nova on Mandrake 10 Offical

Hi All,

I can't get Mandrake to see this card. Harddrake detects a card in the other mulitimedia devices as a SA7146 but when I go to configure the tv card in the control centre it say 'no tv card dectected'

So I went and downloaded the drivers from linuxtv.org and as I am running a kernel 2.6 it say that support is already in the Kernel and all I have to do is add the firmware. So I followed the instructions and this is what I got:

[gordy@localhost gordy]$ su
Password:
[root@localhost gordy]# mount -t sysfs sysfs /sys
mount: sysfs already mounted or /sys busy
mount: according to mtab, none is already mounted on /sys
[root@localhost gordy]# dir /sys/class/firmware
timeout
[root@localhost gordy]# modprobe dvb-ttpci
[root@localhost gordy]# dir /sys/class/firmware/
timeout
[root@localhost gordy]# export DEVDIR=/sys/class/firmware/0000\:03\:05.0
[root@localhost gordy]# echo 1 > $DEVDIR/loading
bash: /sys/class/firmware/0000:03:05.0/loading: No such file or directory
[root@localhost gordy]# cat dvb-ttpci-01.fw > $DEVDIR/data
bash: /sys/class/firmware/0000:03:05.0/data: No such file or directory
[root@localhost gordy]# echo 0 > $DEVDIR/loading
bash: /sys/class/firmware/0000:03:05.0/loading: No such file or directory

can anyone tell me where I am going wrong..

Gordy
