Question Wifi (pci) disconnect when computer idle. Fedora 14, wifi RaLink RT2561/RT61

Hello All,

I have a problem with my desktop pc for which I bought a wifi card (Dlink dwl g510, chip RaLink RT2561/RT61). Fedora 14 detected it automatically and wifi seems to work great on the machine.
The problem comes when I try to ssh into my machine from my laptop over the wireless. If I don't use the desktop computer for a while, it will stop responding to ping, and will only respond again if I go to the computer and use the internet. (It never shows the network as disconnected, so it doesn't loose the signal).

So from this I deduce there is some sort of idle poweroff happening, but when I type iwconfig I get this:
Code:
wlan0 IEEE 802.11bg ESSID:"***"
          Mode:Managed Frequency:2.462 GHz Access Point: ***
          Bit Rate=48 Mb/s Tx-Power=20 dBm
          Retry long limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
          Power Management:off
          Link Quality=50/70 Signal level=-60 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
          Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0
which says there is no power management activated. I can't find any error or log about this problem, so any suggestion on where to look for clues would be very welcome!

Thanks ahead for any help,

tessx

Btw, could this be a driver bug?
