WIFI adapter for a Desktop Computer
This new thread is a new topic.

I have had to relocate a desktop computer to the wrong side of a concrete wall. My laptop works with the wifi router, and signal strength is adequate to very good.

I would like to install a wifi card into the desktop computer. My hardware is a 64big dual core with intel mother board.

Can someone recommend one more more wifi cards (pci or other).
I have an external USB wireless adapter but only have windows drivers. The adapter works well with windows.

I recommended one of the Alfa USB wireless adapters to a friend with a similar scenario. He was very pleased with the signal strength from his new adapter from here. I hope one of these may be what you are looking for.
