Wierd Mouse Problem

My mouse works as a mouse should but - after time, it goes funny. It stops being centred. I have to click 1 centimetre to the right of point X to click on point X. I've tried 5 different mice inc. usb!) and the problem always comes back. This has happened with Mandrake 7.3, SuSE 7.2 and Mandrake 8.2.

Only a reboot seems to solve this problem. You know how irritating that is.

Is it my motherboard? Graphics card?
What can I check - fiddle with.

Good point - my keyboard skills in Linux have got much better!

May be another mouse does the trick... just try a normal, if you have one lying around

Its a known problem with SuSE
