Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Widescreen monitor with Radeon 9600XT

Hey there. I'm contemplating buying a Dell 2005FPW but before I make a purchase I want to be sure that I won't have problems using it with my Linux system. I have a Sapphire Radeon 9600XT and will be using the fglrx drivers. The Dell monitor's native resolution is 1680x1050 (widescreen) and although I would assume (hopefully correctly) that the graphics card supports this resolution, I have no idea whether or not the fglrx drivers are likely to cooperate.

So my question is, should I expect trouble with this hardware combination or should everything be just fine?
