you have to edit the xf86config file in--------/etc/X11
read the "README"......it tells exactly how to do it

You have to edit xf86config4 (or xf86config) in /etc/x11...not /etc/x11/readme.

The README is in /usr/share/doc/NVIDIA_GLX-1.0/README

When you edit /etc/X11/XF86Config you need to delete the "#" from the front of the line
# Load "glx"
