Whoppix doesn't reconize wireless adapter

I have a Jaht 54mbps WN-4054U USB 2.0 adapter, that I'm trying to get to work with Whoppix 2.7 final. It boots up but it doesn't reconize my card so I use ndiswrapper and take the drivers and inf off the install cd for windows. It says it loaded the module but it can't find a new device. So I boot up a terminal and type iwconfig and nothing is there. So I type ndiswrapper and inf and it says inf already installed and hardware present. So I check to see if it actually is present and do iwconfig and nothing. So I'm left with the question is there a driver or firmware that works with linux for this.
