who knows how to install IOGEAR wireless-G adapter card on Linux?


it is Fedora- linux-2.6.5-1.358. Adapter card is Wireless_G USB 2.0 Flex Adapter

Please suggest whatever you think might let it work. Thanks

Use ndiswrapper with it. Read the wiki on ndiswrapper fully before installing. It requires the kernel source called kernel-devel-2.6.5-1.358.rpm for that version of kernel you have installed to compile it. Remember if you upgrade the kernel as an rpm then you need the matching kernel-devel*.rpm and then recompile ndiswrapper to work with it. There are a few sites that have the ndiswrapper as an rpm that matches most of the precompiled kernel rpms. Check here to find an rpm for ndiswrapper rpm matching kernel version. If you use the ndiswrapper from here then you do not need the kernel-devel*.rpm. http://www.atrpms.net/
