I want to know which PCMCIA card I should purchase that people have had good luck with. I want something that mandrake 9.1 or RH9 can automatically setup. I think I remember the orinoco will but could someone please update me on this. Thanks again,
Guys, look at the top thread of Hardware please, I've typed it in so many times my fingers are raw.
New one though, Linksys has screwed up their pcmcia line too, the WPC11 v4 has nothing to do with the well supported 3/2.5/1 and is a Realtek chipset, that has its own supported driver right from realtek, that is a little flaky... The rest of the page is still accurate. If you can find a card based on the new ADMtek chipset, that rocks... but they aren't really worth tracking down, and really... nothing rocks harder then just a vanilla orinoco.

Add to the list of good buys the Netgear MA701 Compact Flash 802.11b card. Put it in a PCMCIA adapter and RH 9 will use it flawlessly, and you can then use it in desktops (with usb adapter) or in your pda (if it has cf). Works great for me..
