Which video driver is running?

What's the quickest and easiest way to see which video driver is running on a given system. I know I can read through Xorg.0.log or xorg.conf, but I'd like to know if there's a simple command that I can issue that will show me which driver is running.

Thanks.

lsmod will tell you which modules are currently loaded up into the running kernel. most graphics drivers will be modules rather than built-in to the kernel, so whatever you are using should be listed here.

E.g. on my system...
Code:
> lsmod | grep -i nv
nvidia 3914364 12
agpgart 27208 1 nvidia
..shows me that I am running an nvidia driver

O.K., thanks, andrews-mark. That's how I had been checking, but it's obvious now that the correct module was not being loaded.
