Which SB sound card to buy. They seem very similar

S.B AUDIGY SE BULK 28,60€

SoundBlaster Audigy SE OEM 29€

SB X-FI XTREME BLK 80€

SOUND BLASTER AUDIGY 4 73€

I understand all the above cards use the EMU10K2 chipset appart from the SB X-FI which uses a newer much more complicated chipset EMU20K1

What are your opinions on these cards? The SB X-FI does not seem to have any linux support yet.

I am presenting this information in the spirit of "...teach(ing) someone to fish..."

ask.com search for "computer sound card thd"

http://computers.newbie.org/sound_cards/

http://www.cyberwalker.com/columns/oct01/111001.html

http://www.directron.com/audiophle192.html

and much more.

Thank you for the ¨fishing lesson¨ I have already been doing a lot of fishing, but I have been unable to catch any fish.

Are you for example able to find an Audigy 4 vs Audigy 4 Pro appart from the extras or is it the same card with a lot of extras?

Thanks again.
