Which SAS controller card?

Hi all,

I have this Fujitsu MAX3073RC 73GB 15k RPM SAS hard disk. I also have a Promise FastTrak TX2650 SAS controller card, but the driver for this card are horrible, and I have big problems getting this card to work on newer kernels. I have more or less given up this controller card, and am currently looking for other Linux compatible SAS controller cards that can be bought relatively cheap. It's such a waste letting this awesome drive collect dust for nothing...

So, basically, does anyone know of a moderately priced SAS controller card utilizing the PCI-Express interface, compatible with the Fedora or Ubuntu Linux distributions? Software RAID is OK, I will only use one disk for this card anyways. If the drivers for the card is included in the Linux kernel this would be a BIG plus.

Thanks,

Mathias

I've used LSI's sas controller's out of the box with a variety of linuxes and windows. Found this on LSI's site, but you can probably find an older model cheaper:
