which module of kernel 2.4.x support IBM trackpoint

As in the subject, I want to know which module of kernel 2.4.x support trackpoint.
Or maybe it is not a module problem, just something to fix in the XF86Config or something else to do.
I am using redhat9 now and I update my kernel to 2.4.27. but the trackpoint still doesn't work. So anybody could tell how to get it work?
