which laptop to choose for linux

hi .Iam planning to buy a new laptop for programming in linux .which laptop should i buy for linux programming what should i consider specifically for this .iam new to linux and plan to switch to it .i am asking this question because in my previous desktop i had problems while dual booting with windows and red hat.Thanks

One way is to look at general reviews to see which seems a good buy, and then to look for it on this forum or using www.google.com/linux. That way you'll see if people have been having any trouble with it.
