Which IRDA dongle?

Hi, i'm thinking about buying a usb irda dongle for my computer but i'm not sure which one, i've done a bit of googling about and found some websites that direct you to some that are linux compatable 'out of the box' or so to speak but there all about forty pounds. i'm looking for a really cheap one here, in the £10-15 region. I have seen quite a few at this price but i'm a bit of a noob and wonder if anyone has bought one of these cheap ones and could tell me how easy/difficult they are to set up when they dont come with any linux support? Or even better recommend one that not too dear and can be used easilly with linux. i have fedora core 5 and i want it to run a Cannon bjc-50 printer (the printer has linus drivers that i found on the cannon website)
Cheers guys
