Give us at least more than 3 hours. Likelihood is that none of them do - you may have to compile a couple of apps.

I have the same wireless card and SuSE 9.2 Pro supports it perfectly. I think you have to get the driver from YOU because they can't put it on the install discs, but I don't recall for sure. There is a small patch you have to apply when you have two devices attempting to access DHCP (i.e. an ethernet card and a wireless card). Hunting around on the SuSE site should produce the answer---search for DHCP.

I love SuSE---wireless card and suspend work great on my Dell Inspiron 4150.

I think you can download the DVD iso from one of SuSE's servers (they also have an FTP install option). If you're new to Linux, it might be worth buying SuSE online (I think Amazon has the best prices I've seen) because you get manuals. I don't have much use for the user manual, but the administrator manual is pretty decent. FYI, the upgrade contains a full version of the software and administrators manual, the only thing missing is the user manual. You could just get the 'upgrade'.

As I said, I can't remember if the driver was on the install DVD or if I got it from YOU, so it might be best to do the install with your computer plugged in via your ethernet card. If you can't get YOU to connect during the install, just try again after it finishes. I think I had some problems with the initial attempt to connect. Here's the DHCP bug-fix I mentioned: http://support.novell.com/cgi-bin/se...cp_client.html

This driver isn't SuSE specific, so I'm sure you can get it to work with other distros...I just happen to think SuSE has some of the best out of the box support. Apparently others agree:

Good luck!
