Which alias for loading the i810_audio using OSS ?

Hi,

I compiled kernel 2.6.4. I have in /etc/ a new file called modprobe.conf that replaced modules.conf of kernel 2.4.x series. The module i810_audio is not loaded automatically at startup on my Slackware 9.1. Keeping in mind I want to use OSS and not ALSA, which aliases shall I add in /etc/modprobe.conf to have the module loaded at startup ?

This is my modprobe.conf

gt@Colossus:~$ cat /etc/modprobe.conf

alias char-major-195* nvidia
gt@Colossus:~

Thank you,

Sorry, I found the solution by looking in the forum !
I added modprobe i810_audio in /etc/rc.d/rc.modules without using aliases.
