Hello,

See /sys/bus/usb/devices instead.

Hi Didier Spaier

Thanks for you post but the link is a directory not a file.
I did cat /sys/bus/usb/devices but nothing. I tried to mount it as usbfs but error occurs.

This is because this directory only contains symlinks to /sys/devices/<files>.
To check try:
Code:
ls -l /sys/bus/usb/devices

What do you mean?

udev has mostly replaced devfs for managing devices nodes found in /dev (hot-plugging), and is intended to replace neither /proc nor /sys.

Also udev is not new at all: the udev-0.1 source tarball still available here is dated 11-Apr-2003.

/sys is supposed to eventually completely supersede /proc, but that will need a lot of time as so many programs still rely on /proc
