where is the best place to find.....


where is the best place to find a list of supported hardware for linux. I cant remember where is usto go to get info for modems and printers. Trying to see if i can get my modem working on mandrake 8.2. thanks

I am sorry you did not like my thread title. I thought the title started enough of the question to be "useful". Thanks for the answer and have a nice day.

It may seem useful but it makes it so you have to read the rest of your thread to find out what your question is, which in turn isn't really useful when browsing thru the forums.

But it has been edited and this thread is being moved to the HARDWARE forum, where its more suitable also.

ok, ok point taken. I stand corrected. Bye the way, the link gave me good info and i found the drivers for my modem. now if i could just get it installed i'll be fine. thanks again.
