Unhappy Where is page cache?


while is page cache?On the mainboard or in the main memory?
And where is buffer cache?
Hopping for answer:-)

Well, if by "page cache" you mean "page file", its on a seperate SWAP partition.

Your Buffer cache is part of your drives. Its a little piece (usually a couple megabytes) of solid state memory inside harddrives and cdrom drives.

Moving to Linux - Hardware
although not technically Linux related, it could evolve into Linux related topic on hardware However, it is surely not ArchLinux specific
