I currently have my Linksys WUSB11 wireless network adapter running under Windows XP. I would like to be able to use it under SUSE Linux 9.0 with the Kernel 2.4. I have misplaced the book that came with the hardware, therefore, I don't know what version I have. Is there anyway I can find out what version I am using? For ex. 2.6 or 3 or whatever.

There are 2 ways to tell what version you have.

The easiest way is to slide the wall mount plate off the bottom. The information is there.

Alternatively, you can connect it to your PC and do an "lsusb". You should see a line for each USB port you have. The colon separated numbers at the end of each row are a manufacturing ID and identify the attached USB device. The table below shows the WUSB11 model version and the associated manufacturing ID:

WUSB11 v2.6 066B:2211
WUSB11 v2.1 066B:2211
WUSB11 v2.6 077B:2219
WUSB11 v2.8 1915:2233

Note that these are the models that have the Atmel chipset. If you have different manfid it probably has that prism chipset.
