what linux distro will a sound blaster live card work with?

I'm trying to build a digital jukebox and need a distro that will work with a creative sound blaster live! 24bit sound card.

Does anyone have this card working? what distro/kernel are you using?

I just need the system to have sound and a few basic services (ssh, scp, ftp, apache, mysql)
any help would be apreciated, I"m on the verge of giving up on this thing

I have successfully used creative soundblaster cards on all the distros listed in my profile, including Debian.

It doesn't depend on the distro. It depends on the kernel. The 2.6 kernels all support the SoundBlaster Live! (I have the 24 bit edition myself), so the distro doesn't matter at all. Most distro's have the driver enabled as a module, so if the card is correctly recognized its driver gets loaded at boot.
