what is the best RAM for AMD64 3800+


i am more of a software/programmer, and dont know much about hardware. what would be the best RAM to get for a athlon 64 3800+? how much, and what type?

the best thing to do is follow the motherboard manufacturers suggestions. that will give you the type and maximum amount the board can use. crucial and kingston are good brands , although i've never had any problems with brandx from compusa either.
