What hardware would you NOT recommend for Linux?

Hi. I've been bored recently and thought about doing a project that would involve setting up linux on a computer where it would be a "feat" Basically it would test my knowledge of linux and give me something to do. Does anyone know what hardware i should try to get it working on that would be hard to do (but not impossible)? thanks for any replies in advance.
