What does the below mean @ what can I do


[root@Nicholls15 alsa-driver-1.0.5a]# ./configure --with-isapnp=no --with-cards=ens1371,emu10k1,ice1712 --with-sequencer=yes

checking for cc... no
checking for cl... no
configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH

You have no compiler. If you have Yum or Apt4Rpm you can install GCC with them. Otherwise, you should install it off your install cds.

make sure to install all the required "glibc" libraries too,
otherwise you'll get a host of other errors.
