Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

What's the drive on my motherboard called?

I was having a conversation with someone and told them my HP desktop has this drive on the motherboard - unlike a traditional HD or SSD. Supposedly it's faster than an SSD. The one on mine is 256 GB in size. Just curious what it's called.

The exact same thing it was called last time you asked, under one of your (several) other user ID's:

Want a better answer? Then try reading the manual on your computer, or looking it up on HP's website, which will TELL YOU what it is.

And again, as you've been told MANY times...unless you provide details (because saying "HP desktop" is near meaningless), what do you think anyone can tell you?? You've been doing this for at least eight full years now.
