Weird sound problem

Hello.
I'm using archlinux and have a:
VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8233 AC97 Audio Controller (rev 50)

I can hear the sound when I press backspace and there is nothing to erase. I don't here the sound when I double-click at an mp3 song. When I run amsn, aplay runs the sound but just the 0.1 sec of it and then repeat it forever.

Does anybody know how to fix that? =(

Peace Niko

The sound when trying to backspace sounds like the system bell, which is probably played by your PC speaker, and has nothing to do with your soundcard.
