Well I did something today that I haven't done in a very long time. Thats right, I booted to Windows XP to see what my webcam was like. I went out and got the Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000. Before doing so I found some information
here about the drivers for it. Of course I did not read the fine print and later found out, after buying the webcam, that the modules were for the a kernel >= 2.4.19 . Doh' The latest release for RedHat 8.0 is 2.4.18-27.8.0 . I have two choices:
1. Install newer kernel
2. Give up on Linux and go back to Microsoft (Hey there not that bad right?)
