Webcam shuts my computer down

My computer a desktop likes to shut down when I use my webcam.The webcam is new and I am running a 430 watt power supply.The motherboard is a MSI 785GM-E51 with 8 gigs of kingston hyperex memory with a AMD 4 core 630 CPU. This only happens when my Logitech c920 webcam is used.The cam is used in the highest speed usb slot.I have been told it might be a bad usb controler.

Can you check with an online power supply check that your PSU meets your needs first please

2) how many slots do you have for USB and have you tested cam in other slots?
