WebCam on Laptop
 
My Laptop's Webcam is taking pictures all the time. and it gets hotter and hotter. How can I stop this process?
My Operatins system is Suse Linux 10.
My laptop model is M1210 XPS Dell.

You will have to find out what process is causing this behavior.

Do a "lsmod" and see if any webcam module is loaded.

Also, do a "ps aux" to see if there're any processes loaded by Suse 10 which might be causing this.

Check the logs: /var/log/messages
