Webcam is not working in Kubuntu 20.04
Webcam Logitech QuickCam Pro 500 (ID 046d:08ce) is not working on my desktop with:

QuickCam Pro 5000 Bus 001 Device 003: ID 04d9:1702 Holtek Semiconductor, Inc. Keyboard LKS02 Bus 001 Device 002: ID 045e:0084 Microsoft Corp. Basic Optical Mouse Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub But it does not work in zoom I plugged the webcam into USB-2 port instead of USB-3 and suddenly the camera becomes live. It appears in SKYPE, but still I cannot see it in ZOOM. |

I start ZOOM as a separate application. When starting it from Firefox, I have the same problem.

unplugging and plugging in.....suggests your distro has an usb suspend issue?
