webcam help, please?

hey. i'd like to get my webcam to work. it's a logitech quicam express.
i've googled around a bit about it but couldnt find anything helpful.
it's an USB-camera and frankly i have no idea how to get it to work. i run SuSE 8.1 and when i plug in the webcam it gets detected in /proc/bus/usb/device as a 'camera' but i don't know what to do after this.

i would be satisfied if i could get it to somehow take a snapshot once in a while and then just copy it to my public_html.

well, any suggestions? thanks in advance

well if it's got a camera then it'd sound like it's been detected and loaded... tried just using it in a tv viewer or something...?

xawtv -c /dev/video0

if you're after webcam software, i like http://motion.sf.net

also.. try this little article
