LinuxQuestions.org - Webcam doesn't work on Dell Latitude C640 with Radeon Mobility 7500

Hello, it's been a while since I've been here.. anyways as the subject suggests I'm having trouble getting my webcam going in Skype and it doesn't even matter which kind of Linux or webcam (and camera in webcam mode) I use. I'm thinking of downloading and ndiswrap the windows driver for my card but would prefer to find an easier fix than that. I never had any problems with webcams on my main box (which is dead right now) that had a radeon x1600 in it, but I'm drifting off now.. well here again my setup:

Webcam: Logitech QuickCam Express

Computer: Dell Latitude C640, 512 MB ram,
Graphics=Radeon Mobility M7500

OS: Currently runs OpenSuse
