Friends,
I have ran into this beautiful external hard disk of Western Digital, My Book Premium Edition http://www.westerndigital.com/en/pro...sp?DriveID=224.
I wonder if anyone has tried it in his/her linux box. I loved it in the first sight , but I wonder about compatibility issues.
I'd be pleased to have your comments.
Regards,
|

id imagine it would work, if your motherboard and OS supports and is properly configured for USB 2.0 and/or FireWire, then it should be just like any other device.. except really, really big

Thanks for your reply. However as far as I learnt from the forums, Linux is going well with SATA disks.
I wonder for Gentoo 2006 and SuSE 9.3 Pro.
