Wacom Intuos Pro S assign a button to escape key

Hi there,

Trying to use xsetwacom but it is not at all easy, for starters, I type:
Code:
xsetwacom --list devices
but then I can't use anything in the list, I was hoping:
Code:
xsetwacom set "Wacom Intuos Pro S Pad pad" Button 6 key "esc"
might work only to get a message saying cannot find device?

The id is id:12, but I can't find anything anywhere to tell me how to actually form the correct syntax and I can't find the text file where it all is either

Please help this is frustrating when you know it's easily possible

Hi if you ever read this... Thank you !

I've managed to assign the buttons with this command(s)

list devices :
Code:
xsetwacom --list devices
and then to assign the "esc" key to a button:

Code:
xsetwacom --set "Wacom Intuos Pro M Pad pad" Button 1 key "esc"
you wrote `xsetwacom set` instead of `xsetwacom --set` , you forgot the double dashes...
if its not that error, maybe `... Button 6 ...` does not exist but it should tell you then...

Cheers
