W200 orinoco wifi & Ubuntu 10.04

Hello;
First off I've tried loading Ubuntu 11.04 with no success.
Cannot find an "easy" way to do this so I followed this method, which got me to this error with the MAKE command:
Quote:

make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.32-34-generic'
make: *** [modules] Error 2
Not sure where to go from here.
I do have a hard wire connection.
Should I try a different distro?
Bite the bullet & buy a different USB wifi?
I am cheap so I'd like to stay with this card & TRY to get it to work.
Any help appreciated;
Merl

Judging from internet info your driver is problematic and outdated from 2006.
Try to find alternative drivers, try to patch it by self, buy another stick(my d-link was supported).
