Video problem

I am running Fedora Core 5 on a single-board computer with the Intel 845GV chipset and GMCH integrated graphics. Every now and then, my whole system locks up, including the processor. I think it may be something to do with the shared memory used for video. I have tried a few different BIOS configurations, without much luck. Anyone know what's going on?

The onboard VGA often locked up during process.I used to have Intel 845 when play some GAME it sometimes locked up during running. It could be somthing to with Software engine CLOCK. Maybe lowering the frequency state would help.

I'm not sure I know what you mean by lowering the frequency state?
