Video/Display Settings

I have a Debian 5.0.3 system with Gnome installed.

My video card is a Trident Microsystems 3DImage 9750 (rev f3).

I have been unable to find any access to my display properties to change anything like resolution. It appears to be controlled by Gnome. This causes some issues which are annoying. For example; My Iceweasel Browser will not show me the whole web page for LinuxQuestions.org. I have to scroll right and left to see the hidden information.

And, the basic Linux games like Neverputt and atomic tanks are very klutzy/jerky and do not respond to inputs for 2 to 5 seconds.

Another Forum suggested I need to tune my video card. Not sure what they meant by that.

Anyway, where do I find the settings/properties for my video card and display?

What driver does X load, please post /var/log/Xorg.0.log?
What is in your xorg.conf, please post /etc/X11/xorg.conf?

Due to the size of it, I will put the Xorg.0.log as an attachment. Of all things! LinuxQuestions will not allow me to attach /var/log/Xorg.0.log. I will have to rename to Xorg0.txt.
