video card harware acceleration

I don't think I have video card hardware acceleration with X. I try to play tuxracer and I have major lag.

Here's my config files http://www.jqsoftware.com/other/xorg.conf.tar

I have typed xorgconfig as root (I use a slightly modified Slackware 10.0) and used a radeon driver for my Xstasy 9200SE. Is there a particular reason why I don't seem to have hardware acceleration? Thanks

You choose "radeon" in your .conf file.
This driver is for ATI integrated chipset and provides hardware acceleration only for a limited models of chip.
I have a laptop with an integrated ATI chipset (IGP 340M) using such driver but hardware acceleration, unfortunately, is missing. I'd suggest you go here
http://www.x.org/X11R6.8.2/doc/radeon.4.html
and check if 3D acceleration is available for your chipset, in order you avoid time wasting.
Another chance if you google around the web, may be there's a patch somewere.
Hope this helps
Ciao

Yes I have 3D acceleration. Thanks for the link.
But I have no idea how to search google (you could consider me a google noob ) for the patches.... I'll try anyway.
