I changed chip and motherboard on my computer. I had purchased a used unit from ebay. The motherboard doesn't have an agp slot so I couldn't use my old video card. The on board video works fine on windows but my fedora core 5 couldn't find a good driver it works but not good.
I had a cirrus logic pci video card. I removed the on board video in the bios and installed the cirrus logic pci card. Fedora started searching for new hardware but never could load it. I bid on another better pci card as I have had to change lan cards until I found one which linux had drivers for.
Does anybody use a pci video card if so what brand. I used an Nvideo agp card.
