Hi all,
I'm not really having a problem, I just need some general information. All I really want to do is display video from my VCR or DirectTV box into a small window on my desktop. I'm not looking for something crazy, like for video editing or anything. I don't even need sound, I just wanna display the video. Does anyone know of a card like this that works in Fedora Core 4 and is pretty easy to set up? Also, once I get a supported card, where to from there? I am EXTREMELY new to linux. I've managed to set up dual monitors and things like that, but as far as something like kernel-recompiling, I'm in the dark.
