Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

VIA KT-400 chipset sensors

Hi all, I have a quick question, I am trying to get GKrellM2 to show the hardware monitors, but i have not been able to get any of the built in sensors on my VIA KT-400 to register. I am running the 2.6.0-test10 kernel, but they didnt work with my 2.4.22 either, so I dont think that the kernel is part of the problem. I have not been able to find any documentation that tells the brand of the sensors that are used on my mainboard. If anyone can point me in the right direction, i would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

Geoff

The bottom chunk of the GKrellm2 sensors should be: http://www2.lm-sensors.nu/~lm78/

lmsensors, they're not in kernel, but require some kernel modules to be there, I've had pretty good mileage with them on an old kt133 board before I just stopped caring about the heat.

Cheers,
