Ok replace the soundcard with the onboard via 8233 ac 97 soundcard. I now can get my mixers openand unmuted but still no sound(mixers: alsamixer,aumix,kmix) tried to re-reun alsaconf, but to no avail. run some test and it says alsa is set to all zeros. I would just like to say thanks to everyone how tried to help on the other problems.
