Question Veo web cam

I have a veo web cam model 640vs34x0 USB. When connected my usb device list shows the web cam as Xirlink. Class=255 (Vendor Specific Class) Subclass=0 Protocol=0 USB Version 1.1 Vendor ID=0x545 (Xirlink,Inc.) Product ID=0x810a Revision=5.0 Speed=12 Mbits/s Channels=0 Max. Packet Size=0......So far I have not been able to make it work in any program I have. I have a digital camera that works with my programs and a digital video camera that will also work with my programs but the web cam will not. The digital camera uses USB and the Video Camera uses Firewire. I am using Mandrake 9.2 on a Dell Precision 530 dual processor w/1gig RDRAM. If there is further information needed let me know and I will post it.

Thank you,

Well I have a slightly different model. The ibmcam driver will not work with our models. I am going to try to patch one to get it to work. However, if these models output the compressed format I read about elsewhere, then I (we'll) be stuck as Veo is not releasing any spec's on this format.
