Using two Ultra100 TX2 causing Linux to crash

I am using two Ultra100 TX2 to connect to 5 hard drives. 4 of them are on the first card and the last one is on the second card. When I transfer files from the master on the first ide channel of both cards at the same time the system stops responding and I must manually reset the computer. Transferring files in any other way does not appear to be a problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem or have any idea how to fix it?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

Name of the driver/module if you know it?

I have kind of the same problem - I have 3 Ultra100 TX2 controllers,6 drives, every drive is connected as master on it's own cable. They are configured as a RAID5 array and under heavy load (that means both reading and writing to all disks at high speed at the same time, the computer freeze and I have to physically reboot it.
