Angry Using Samba Protocol + Hard disk issues

Hi All,

I want to use Samba protocol, for accessing my friends system, both are in
same network. Can anybody suggest me a good link so that i can move ahead.
Is it possible to use samba between multiple machines.
My hard disk is of 80 GB(40 GB for windows & linux),i want to access my windows partitions from linux. How is it possible? tell me about the partition setting in both the OS.
If two hard disks are connected to a system, one windows and other linux, the same procedure will be used to access the windows Hard Disk or some different procedure is used.

Ravi
