Unhappy Using FlashDisk in SuSE 9.2 Pro

Hi there,
How can I use my flashdisk on SUSE9.2 pro?
I know that I must mount it from /dev/sda but How can I read and write and see the properties(e.g. freespace, etc..) of it in SuSE?
Thanks.

my line for my external hard drive in /etc/fstab...tweak it to ur drive

/dev/sda1 /media/my_baby vfat noauto,users,uid=1002,exec,rw, 0 0

adding rw and the uid line lets the user with the uid=x own it.
