using a large hard disk on an old motherboard?

Hi.

Im trying to get a harddisk my brother has bought for his computer to work. the harddisk is a 120gig seagate. i dont know anything about motherboards or where inparticular to look on it to know more. The processor on this machine is a 600mhz PIII. i guess the processor must have been upgraded at some stage leaving the motherboard older than thought.

The computers bios cant detect the harddisk unless the drive jumpers are set to restrict the 120 gigs to 32gigs. Does anybody know if and how i could get the drive working on this computer with the hardware as is using the full 120gigs?

cheers.
Ben

go to the computers MFG website or the Mobo's MFG website and
look at the specs...........
also might consider upgrading the BIOS................
I have an Intel 440 bx/zx........the biggest drive I can use is 80 gig........
