Use USB HP 8200 CD-Writer under linux?
 
Does anyone else know if the USB HPcd-writer 8200 works under linux? Does it involve adding a kernel module? thanks.

Yes this cd-writer works under linux. Usually you have to

modprobe usb-storage

for it to work. I've used with knoppix/debian hard drive install
