Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

USB3 4 port hub

I have a 4 port hub plugged to an asus prime b450 mb. In my main system - opensuse leap - it works. I get a possible faulty lead message and it won't connect in my current spare - kde-neon testing.
Has any one any thoughts on why?

Are you saying that you have a single computer, on that computer you have two OS's and that one OS fails?

I'm saying thu hub works in opensuse(leap and tumbleweed) but not in neon.
One computer 3 systems on separate partitions with the same connections.
The 4port hub is an external plugged into a usb3 port.

Possibly the hub would work on all if it were relocated to a USB2 port. I would assume the hub is usb2 itself.
